Laurieldesign ,The Old Shoe Shop , 43 High St Kington

It was always a dream of mine to have a working studio /shop open to public Somewhere I can work from whilst engaging with my customers about the things I design,make ,sell and repair. 

In Jan 2022  I finally managed to make it happen in the  little old town of Kington , Herefordshire. Here you will find me on the ground floor designing ,making and mending. 

I prefer to do face to face sales rather than over the internet. 

You can come into the shop , try something on and if it fits and you like it , you can  buy it , hassle free. 

If you want a repair done I  will ask you to bring it in so I can see it and advise what is best to do. If I can repair it I will. 

I can mend anything from Bell tents , bags to leather jackets and more  domestic textile items .People come with all sorts of textile needs.

I love it . 

The Old Shoe Shop   is a grade II listed building lovingly restored  by Bernard Ray of Grandads Shed. He rents out all the rooms to artisan makers like myself.

My opening times are Tuesdays , Thursdays and Friday mornings .The other days are spent working at Gaucho Ninja making bespoke shoes.
